'Places of worship' act was passed in 1991.

It basically says, that nature of place of worship at it stood on August 15, 1947 will be preserved. ( It excluded then going Ram Janambhoomi dispute)

Means Gyanwapi mosque built by demolishing Kashi Vishwanath will stay a mosque.
So Aurangzeb demolishing Kashi Vishawanath in Sep 1669 is irrelevant. There was a mosque on that site on 15th Aug 1947. That's the cut off date.

But do you know Muslim Personal Law is based on Fatawa 'Alamgiri'. It was composed during Aurangzeb's time.
So, Muslims are allowed to follow personal laws composed during Aurangzeb's era in 17th century. based on a book written in 7th century.

But when it comes to temples at Kashi, Mathura destroyed by Aurangzeb. Indian state wants the cut of date to be Aug 15, 1947.
You can't have a cut off date of Aug 15, 1947 for Hindus for their religious matters.

& a cut off date of 7th century for M's for their personal matters!

'Places of worship' act was passed to preserve symbols of Jihad on our soul. The act has to go for justice & parity!
1975 - ASI was doing a project on Ramayana sites.

ASI found pillars bases of a temple below beneath Babri mosque.

When BB Lal mentioned this to Indira Gandhi. She stopped the excavation!

Same Indira went to Babar's tomb in Afg and stood there with a bowed head for a min.
