Chelsea vs Porto thread
1. Havertz, Werner and Mount lined up as the front three which was expected. Both the Germans were ineffective and subbed early, with Tuchel saying post game it was due to a poor performance from both. Mount was by far the best attacking player

2. Kante's subsitution was massive and helped Chelsea gain a better foothold in the game. Overall the performance wasn't great with Chelsea landing a total of 3 shots on target. Mount's goal was down to individual brilliance and Chilwell's due to a defensive error by Porto.

3. In terms of attackers, Mount is the only one I would consider for FPL. If you own Havertz, I would be worried whether he starts against Palace, with both Giroud and Abraham in line to replace him. Tuchel will want to give one of them gametime before the second leg

4. Chilwell had a very good game, completely nullifying Porto's threat down his side. I expect him to play the second leg as well as the FA Cup game against Man. City which enhances Alonso's prospects of starting both GW31 and GW32.

5. If Chelsea progress in the UCL then you would expect Chilwell against Madrid/Liverpool too, so there can be a case for including Alonso in your wildcards. His potential when he does play is immense and it's unlikely he comes on for a cameo

6. The back three is unlikely to be tinkered with too much after Zouma's poor performance against West Brom. The 3 of Rudiger, Christensen and Azpilicueta should play almost all the games, with Thiago Silva and Zouma getting the odd appearance. Again, very low chance of a cameo

Summary - Mendy is nailed and if I was doubling up on defence, he would be one of them. I personally don't think Azpi is worth the premium with Rudiger over 1m cheaper. Alonso worth a punt if you can handle odd benching. Mount the only attacker to consider.

Missed out James. Rwb is a position Tuchel has tinkered with a lot so there's always the threat of Hudson odoi playing , so personally wouldn't go there. High chance of sub on/off here too
