It's very easy to sit there and say this isn't a big issue, when frankly, I think many local councillors will tell you this is an absolutely HUGE issue.
Like many things, root change takes time. I've said this before - be proactive and invest in service to prevent social issues before they happen. But until that change happens, we need to consider reactive measures.
and this should all be community driven. It's not about more cops - it's about ensuring local authorities have the resource and power to help residents who feel unsafe even in their own home.
