Short honest answer: No

Long answer: What is meant by "turn out well"? All you can do here is subjective self-appraisal. When you couple this with the social pressure against admitting one's failures, the simple answers become suspicious. https://twitter.com/thismalip/status/1380076935028563972
We can make slightly less subjective assessments by looking at how society functions as a whole, and that'll give you insights into how "well" the units of society have turned out.
Some useful dimensions of "well" you can probe include:
- Your ability to trust other people
- Respect for the validity of substantive differences in people. E.g. do you accept women's rights? Queer rights? Disabled rights?

- Access to comfortable existence

This list isn't exhaustive, but it shows that turning out well is multidimensional.
Did I turn out well? Sometimes, I do things I'm proud of, other times, I don't. Many times, the bad side of me jumps out, but I'm constantly trying to understand, unpack and correct course.
So, as you see, I struggle with that question, even from a subjective viewpoint.
As to who it is owed to, I'd say society as a whole. Too simplistic to put it only on one's parents.

In sum: On the eve of the day I'll claim that I turned out well, may I die!

To turn out well is to stop being self-critical.

If you turned out well, I wanna hear from you.
