Sometimes around the internet, I see people mostly the people in the southern and eastern part of Nigeria pushing the idea that the whole of north is of a single tribe (Hausa). So I came up with this.

Adamawa state have close to twenty languages like bura phabir, fulfude, kilba, bacama, longuda, mumuye, samba daka and the rest. Bauchi has ajawa, gamo-ningi, mawa, lere and others. Benue has igala, igede, idoma and TIV. Borno has shuwa Arab, kanuri and marghi. Jigawa has bade,
Kanuri and wanjl. Kaduna has gbagyi, hausa and the rest. Nasarawa has agatu, abawa, bassa, eggon, ebura, gwandara, gede and the rest. Kwara has Yoruba, nupe, fulfude and others. Most of them can& #39;t even be mentioned in this thread. Thou hausa have overpowered several of them
Making them almost non-existent, that doesn& #39;t change the fact that their are hundreds of languages up north. Northwest alone has over 200 ethnic groups. In terms of number of ethnic groups in Nigeria, no place is close to north in numbers.
When the president makes an appointment, people don& #39;t see beyond region, as long as he or she is from the north then automatically he or she is an hausa. I know even after this thread it would still continue.
As long as I can remember nobody from my tribe (Egbura) ever held a high government position and we are not babbling about that even though we are also Nigerians. No matter how rich and developed a country is, presence of bigotry, tribalism makes it void.
