the left should be safer for oppressed people than it is for ex nazis🤷‍♂️
these streamers really have convinced people that it's bad that oppressed people want a "safe space" when that's exactly what *they're* trying to build for "converted nazis": a safe space where ex nazi/white feelings are centred, where people will handle them with kiddie gloves
a "safe space" where language doesn't need to change, where they can still go after the "wokescolds" in order to satisfy their need to dehumanize marginalized folk who care about social justice
a "safe space" that doesn't require them to do any uncomfortable introspection or work in order to be accepted. a place that will prioritize them as examples of redemption. a place where "change" is celebrated, and therefore the "ex nazi" part of them is upheld instead of shamed
a place where any doubt can be dismissed w/ comebacks like "purity testing", "virtue signalling", "wokescolding", "terminally online", "divisive" etc.
an important thing to note about these communities is that even if they uphold "leftist" politics, they still use fascist aesthetics, rhetoric and tactics
