difference between NG & NANG

a sinulid:
NG
- ng is a counterpart of the preposition 'of'

example:
- Taeyong is the leader of the group NCT. (si Taeyong ang lider ng grupong NCT)
- also used to conjunct or connect a verb to its object

example:
- I bought a new shirt. (Bumili ako ng bagong damit.)

In this example, 'ng’to conjuncted the verb (bought [bumili]) to its object (a new shirt [bagong damit])
NANG
- on the other hand, nang is a counterpart of the conjunction 'when'

example:
- Gab was laughing when I saw him. (Si Gab ay tumatawa nang makita ko siya.)
- it is also used to conjunct a verb to an adverb, altering it.

example:
- Don't eat too fast. (Wag kang kumain nang sobrang bilis)

in this example, 'nang' conjuncted the verb (eat [kumain]) to the adverb modifying it (too fast [sobrang bilis]).
In conversations, there is no problem, as long as you understand what they're saying. However, if it is written, especially in formal works, adhering to the correct grammar is needed.
napansin ko kasing marami ang nakaka-misuse sa NG at nang, hoe this helps mwehihi
omg hope* kasi yon😭😭
i also want to add:
- madalas kasunod ng NG ay mga pangngalan (noun)
[ KUMAIN:
NG ice cream
NG leche flan ]

- madalas kasunod ng NANG ay mga pang-uri (adjective)
[ TUMAKBO :
NANG mabilis
NANG matulin ]
additional info for those who are still confused:
