This guy’s accusing me of being part of the reason Joss Whedon has power in Hollywood.

If I ask him to delete this tweet, I’ll come off like an asshole. He’ll 100% accuse me of being an asshole.

I have no problem with people not liking my movie opinions but this really sucks.

Fuck man. This shit ruins my night.

I’m sorry. I get so pissed when people like this say stupid shit about me. It gets under my skin. And if I try to fight it, I’m the asshole/crybaby. Jesus.

This is not a normal thing a normal fan of a director does. It’s not.

I’ve tried to ignore it.

I’ve tried to reach out and let them know that stuff is not true and to please not spread it. It’s hateful and encourages harassment.

It’s infuriating because he’s claiming I’m okay with the horrendous behavior an abuser like Whedon gets away with.

Me not liking a director’s movie doesn’t mean I’m supportive of *another* director’s abusive behavior. Jesus Christ.

I guess it won’t ever end. This is my life now. I’ll be 90 years old and some 75 year old is gonna walk up to me to say “why did you let Whedon get away with it?”

I was never upset that this random man had an awful opinion of me.

It’s that he’ll tweet stuff like this, others will see it, and think that’s who I am, without even looking me up. I’ve seen it happen in real time. It’s though to fight this if it’s caught on in these circles.

But a lot of amazing people responded with really, truly nice messages and I wasn’t expecting that.
