hey guys, friendly reminder that you cant fully learn about the holocaust and antisemitism from a carrd !!! i highly recommend reading books made by jewish people and holocaust survivors (ex. anne frank’s diary or anything by elie wiesel)
it’s important to take the time to educate yourselves on the events of the holocaust as to never let it happen again. it’s important to speak up and show support for the jewish community. also, buy from jewish owned stores if you want to buy jewish religious items !!
i also feel the need to mention that part of my family is jewish (i know at least my grandparents are jewish) and i definitely take pride in having a bit of jewish heritage
i want to add this quote tweet as it totally crossed my mind to mention that before reading up on the holocaust, make sure you’re in a headspace where you can handle it https://twitter.com/morthmans/status/1380046567038545922
im also going to quick add this as these can be starting points for education as well https://twitter.com/moontwerk/status/1379812056422092801
