“Yola any man would be blessed to have you”

This usually comes from people who know “Yola Marj” and not Yola herself. You never saw me mad or hungry.

Outside of the preacher, intercessor, & great things I do, I am also a person. I want to be someone’s wife, not just a trophy.
Let’s not qualify powerful women of God for wifehood because of their attributes + gifts.

Women deserved to be loved for who they are outside of that. You like what you see on social media and the image they display but what about her as a woman? Do you know about her character?
I’d like a man who says, “wow, she’s so passionate about serving people. She’s Christ like in her serving”

If your awe of me doesn’t remind you of Christ, it’s just an infatuation, not a genuine pursuit.

Know the difference.

Cos it’s possible to be infatuated by just anybody
If you’re more attracted to a woman’s resume rather than her, HERself, it ain’t gon last.

Because what happens when you see her outside of what you only assessed from what she chooses to display.

Take time to get to know women for who they are.
“You’re so beautiful”

Oh I am? Keep that same energy when my wig comes off at night.

Didn’t see that coming huh?

Be blessed now.😉
I’m not going to be out here wanting to talk about ministry on our honeymoon bro.

I love Jesus but he even he knows that intimacy stems deeper than talks about ministry & preaching.

Let’s talk about life. You like sports? What’s your favorite team? What do you like to eat?
That’s why so many Christian relationships nowadays are SUPER performative.

People truly do too much and let ministry, accomplishments, and titles define them because that’s their only source of significance.

You are someone else OUTSIDE of your function.
