Something the wider Sk8 fandom doesn't acknowledge enough is that Langa saved Adam from suicide. Many wanted Langa to abandon Adam & hated that he reached out to him. But, do they know that if Langa hadn't reached out Adam would have most likely committed suicide?

There's always talk of Adam needing "Jail and Therapy" but it's as if they don't really engage with why exactly Adam needs therapy? What mental struggles is he dealing with? They don't really look into it that far. Because it's pretty clear in the last episode that he's suicidal

Disclaimer: I don't mean this tweet to be a condemnation of people who dislike Adam. Disliking a character is valid as long as you don't harass anyone. But I just thought it was interesting that I didn't see the greater Sk8 fandom talking about Adam's mental state during the race

My initial tweet was actually inspired by a TikTok where someone said Langa prevented Adam becoming a more corrupt politician by pulling him out of the zone a reminding him of fun. And it confused me that they didn't consider that actually Adam's plan for that night was to die :(
