There are many things happening out in Northern Ireland right now that need attention. (thank you @jubileesoph for bringing this to attention) A thread:
There are many riots and protests happening right now and this is not a new thing. Here is an article on a riot that happened this week. This week a bus was set a-flame in this area of nationalist and union communitys. Citizens threw stones at the police( https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2021/apr/07/bus-set-on-fire-in-belfast-on-sixth-night-of-unrest-in-northern-ireland)
Continued: Stones were thrown at the police as well as tires and trash cans being burned. The UK prime minister made a tweet about these events ( https://twitter.com/BorisJohnson/status/1379895030077394950?s=20) A photographer was also shot and attacked whilst photographing the scene.

The public has been warned to stay away from the area too help "restore calm". Here is a link to a reporter who was there during this event. https://twitter.com/trishdevlin/status/1379890239716614148?s=20. Many people were shocked with all this happening. Many items of property were destroyed along with this riot.
