before we start i wanna say, i am speaking as someone who is schizophrenic and experiences psychosis and who is Sick and Tired of the ableism towards psychotic people.

Who can experience psychosis?
Anyone on the schizophrenic or psychotic spectrum

The ableism part:

Non psychotics using the phrase “are you delusional?” in a derogatory way.
This is harmful because of the fact you’re basically using delusions as an insult and a bad thing. we Cannot control our delusions and you are stating we are bad because of this.

it paints us to be Bad harmful dangerous people, because it’s mainly used to describe people like that. Yes, some people can be dangerous, but a very rare small amount. The word is demonized, when it shouldnt.

2/2 it’s not fucking okay for you to call him a psychopath just because he “went insane” and became dangerous.

i agree, kinning IS NOT the same as DAs. and it’s 100% fair that people with DAs aren’t okay with people kinning them.
