Isn't it odd how little mention of the care homes there are in NPHET meeting minutes when half of all deaths occurred there? Isn't it also odd there is a 6 week delay between a NPHET meeting and the publication of the minutes? There are 3 possible scenarios:
1/ NPHET did not consider care homes - making them criminally negligent
2/ NPHET gave advice to protect care homes which was ignored by HSE - unlikely as nothing in the minutes
3/ NPHET gave advice to move elderly into care homes in March 2020, & later removed this from minutes
In the minutes, NPHET recommend PCR testing once a fortnight for care homes. Meanwhile, the rest of Europe were using rapid antigen testing on a daily basis in care homes. 3 times @CMOIreland refused to recommend antigen testing in care homes.
