I usually refrain myself from commenting on the political feuds and fightings. But today, it is affecting health of common people. https://twitter.com/PrakashJavdekar/status/1379779319451447298
Today, we witnessed a crossfire between center and state. In such statement, Mr @PrakashJavdekar told us very 'valuable' information. He argued that MH has been provided with 10619190 doses out of which 9053523 doses are administered till date.
But here comes the first lie. He conveniently asserted that with wastage of 6% that is over 5 lakhs.
But as per the different news reports and own dashboard of MoHFW, MH didn't featured amongst top 10 states and he conveniently assumed that national average of 6.5% is also applicable to MH which is not the case.
Also, he asserted that there are 1565667 doses are available with state with 743280 doses are 'in pipline', which makes the total of 2308947 doses with the state.
But the devil lies in details. The 'in pipline' doses are not currently available with the state but in process to be handover, which makes them absolutely of no use in present conditions.
Also, he hasn't mentioned any date on which the doses will be handovered to state, which leaves us on only guessing.
Let's turn towards another detail. With the daily average of 4.3 lakh doses administered, the remaining doses of 1565667 are hardly available for 3 days.
Let us assume state gets delivery of 743280 doses in these 3 days, which hardly push the date to further 2 days. The question arises 'what after that?'
In this scenario, the demand of more provisioning of doses by Mr @rajeshtope11 seems true. Instead of addressing his points and reside the fears of people, Hon. Health minister resorted to use it for political feuds, which achieves nothing fruitful.
As per statement by Hon. Health minister, there is no shortage of vaccines. Then he must increase allocation to MH and prove his bipartisanship as he has taken oath to upheld.
