I’ve been qualified 6 months and I always find it awkward to question doctors especially as a newly qualified. I questioned a doctor who repeatedly told me 5 ampules of adrenaline in a nebuliser was safe to give
(I’m not ENT trained either) but it sounded an awful lot to me, he said if I wanted to question him and his abilities then to ring the pharmacist. I rung nurse pracs and they said the patient would be in cardiac arrest had I given it

You’re never too ‘newly qualified’ to trust your gut instincts and query doses with the doctors as they can and do get it wrong, patient safety is paramount
