I am in line to get my second vaccine shot. I am excited and thankful, but I have to laugh at the fact that... I got my first dose on St Patrick's Day, and my second dose I'm getting on National Beer Day 😅😭😭
Side effect update: my arm hurts so bad. Got the shot in a different arm than the first one. First one didn't hurt unless you touched it, and not even that bad. This one HURTS to move. So that means I've been moving my arm nonstop 😅😭 can't baby it!
Another update: getting crazy chills. No fever though, so that's something
Scratch that, fever now. 101.9🤒
Oh yeah, mute this thread if you don't want side effect stuff clogging up your feed

Took meds, looks like fever is going down now 😭💖
I barely got any sleep. Fever is back up, and I'm feeling a bit nauseated
I didn't update this thread at all yesterday, shows how much I was knocked down. Just spent the day on the couch trying to nap and feeling run down. Had headache, backache, nausea, muscle pain and spasms, the whole kaboodle. Temp kept going up and and, but stabilized by bedtime
I'm much better today, enough to come back to work. Temp is good, just have some muscle soreness and my head feels like I hit it on something. Not an active headache, but feels like it could turn into one, so I took some more Tylenol just to prevent it.
I was wondering, if boosters will be needed for these vaccines, will side effects like these be common each time? If they are, I still think the benefits of the vaccine far outweigh any side effects I may get. At least the side effects only last for a few days
