With Verizon adding 5G home internet service in my neighborhood, RCN chose the wrong time to increase my bill by $15/mo. This is the second time my rate has gone up without notice, and the rate is now 2x a new customer rate?!

Now to wait on hold 30 minutes to cancel my service.
Too bad this Verizon 5G in-home Internet is so slow… for $50/mo flat vs $100 for slower service via RCN.

"Can I ask what the upload speed is on your new service? 100mb? ohh yeah we're not anywhere near that." (They're at 20mb)

She sounded so sad, hopefully RCN stops jacking prices without service improvements. They also have fiber in some areas of the city just not here.
