Thread: Diving through the Shrek Retail Advertising Style Guide and sharing all the interesting things I find on it
It comes with a CD and a booklet detailing all the things on it, but lucky for us, the CD contains a PDF of the booklet
The first 2 pages are the Shrek Logo and the logo for the Home Video release date
I think my favorite thing on the disc is the character guidelines, especially the first 2
High res versions of both the VHS and DVD boxart for the movie
This was labeled under "TV Screen Art"
Some gift card designs included on the disc
A funny little corner ad
What I like to call the "peeking" Shrek render
High res renders of Shrek and Fiona
A few high res renders of Farquaad and Donkey that you don't see very often
A combo of renders of Shrek and Donkey running
Renders of Shrek, Donkey, Fiona, and Farquaad, all in circle templates
These templates seem to have been rarely used, as the only thing I know of that uses them are these promotion buttons for the home video release of the movie
Lastly, a group shot, including renders of Shrek and Fiona that I've never seen before
And that's everything from the style guide! Thanks to everyone for all your support! I was worried no one beside me found this stuff interesting 😅 I have another kit like this and a whole binder full of stuff for Shrek 2, so look out for threads on those too!
