I posted a series of info graphics on Instagram a few weeks back explaining how to build a full skincare routine with product recommendations?

Should I post as a thread here too? With the graphics?

Step 1.
CLEANSING 🍃

If you had the slightest idea how much dirt and grime your skin is exposed to on the daily, you would understand that this is non negotiable
And no, your body wash or body bar does NOT count
Step 3. Wash Off Masks 🍯
If you're needing to use a mask for whatever reason, it should always be done after cleansing your skin.
This makes sure that you have a clean canvas to work on.

It is NOT a good idea to let these masks dry on your face especially with clay masks
Step 4. Exfoliating 🍂
As you get older and your skin cell turnover rate starts to slow down, it can be helpful to encourage your skin to shed dead skin cells and renew itself.

This helps reduce dull skin and prevent possibility of pores clogged from dead skin cells, sebum etc
Step 5.
A Toner is an Essence is an Ampoule is a Serum.
Did you know that the water, nutrients and vitamins in the food you eat or drink is used up by the rest of your organs & all that your skin gets is what's left over? 😪

Think of these as food and water for your skin 😁
Step 6. Sheet Masks 🍸

These treats are good for a pamper session and should come after your serums and essences since they're basically soaked in serums themselves.

Grab a drink and relax with a movie while you pop one of these on ☺️
(check out my thread on sheet masks too)
Step 7. Treatments 🦠🧬

Any leave on treatments like these should come after your hydrating and soothing products, so that they form a moisture sandwich which helps reduce possible irritation

hydration + treatment + moisturizer = 😁
Step 8. Eye Creams x Serums 🐼

Did you know the skin around your eyes is at least 40% thinner than the rest of the skin on your face?

It requires even more TLC
Step 9. Moisturising 🍲

This is the second most important step besides cleansing. It's non negotiable.

Yes. Even oily skin too
Step 10. Occlusives & Facial Oils 🌻

Nothing better than sealing all that good moisture in so your skin has enough to do the work of repairing itself 😋
Step 11. Sunscreen 🌝

I couldn't have finished this thread without mentioning this step.
A lot of skin concerns are made worse by sun damage and it's why this step is so important.
Step 12. Lip Care

This part isn't about trying to alter the natural colour of your lips - it's primarily about maintaining lip skin health

And that should always be the goal.

Healthy skin, not perfect skin.
I hope this thread was helpful 🤗
