The poll is done. 3800 twitter accounts voted. What does it mean? Well, it means that even on the Deep South, wild West of Twitter, most indy supporters who saw it, are going to vote SNP in their list vote.
It means Alba supporters take these sort of optics seriously (we were
mobbed by two particular bubbles, more on that in a while).

The Greens support held up well. They as a party, really aren't the loudest on Twitter, except on skip school Fridays...

Labour sat at 2-3% until George Galloway miaowed at our poll with the comment in the attached pic:
Within an hour, the Labour vote, Alba's vote, and the amount of Trolls tweeting insults and "where is, All4Unity" comments shot up. The Trolling continued, even after Galloway blocked us, and Labour and Alba's vote continued to climb.

Alba Party fans then joined in both
trolling, and RTing the poll into their bubbles.

What do these numbers mean?

Well its aTwitter poll, so not much. But, what it shows is how the optics of these things... The psychological boost these things give to certain campaigns are important.

Do the SNP or Greens need
the optics of a winning Twitter poll? At an educated guess, they dont.

Estimations of pro independence folk on Twitter, range from 15-20% of the electorate. Ungagged really doesn't reach into all of the Indy bubbles thanks to block lists, which ensure that followers of the
mother accounts only see the wedge politics, the conspiracy theories and right wing hate campaigns the bubble centre accounts want their block list promoting fans to see. This is literally how cults work. Cut off outside information sources, by blocking access to outside
information and challenge. Wings, Jeggit, Barrhead Boy et al have done this by moving the BBC/media bias argument to an argument that all outside information is tainted. Instead of an education programme on how to read news reports and what BBC bias really is, and educating
on bias, funding, journalists background, education and interests, data analysis; the indy bloggers /wannabe David Koresh's/ David Miscavige's/ Jim Jones's, tell their fans to block and only believe their "untainted" info. This was also a Thatcherite tool… back in the
eighties, Thatcher attacked universities and colleges, and the study of the media. "Keep 'em ignorant. Keep' em reliant on me…"

Estimations of pro independence folk on Twitter, range from 10-20% of the pro indy electorate. Ungagged really doesn't reach into all of the
Indy bubbles. But two of the "mother bubbles," including the account one of those bubbles centres on, reached out to try to control the optics of the poll, so this poll, will of course be extremely inaccurate.

But if it shows anything, it shows that some in these
campaigns still see trolling (and blocking) as important tools.

Why? Well, the silencing of voices is incredibly powerful, and the silencing of moderates on all sides, like the blogger @weegingerdug, will be seen as a victory by some.

And of course, the optics of a
perceived victory in a 3800 twitter acc poll will be important, psychologically, to enraptured, encaptured followers who don't understand how polls, bias, and data analysis really works.
