History of The Jackie Bag
First bag was designed in 50s as a unisex hobo bag. The first name G1244 had been soon replaced by 'Jackie' as Jackie Kennedy was photographed with one of those bags very often. the bag was automatically associated with her.
The bag became an instant hit and it marked her place in a history of fashion. It was one of the first hobo bag ever and it's was a favourite of not only woman but also men.

The Jackie had been brought back into the collections by Tom Ford in 1999 in a floral and GG print and by Frida Giannini in 2009 who made it bigger and softer.
Another bug year for the bag was 2014 Kate Moss add. The campaign video shows Kate running from paparazzi at the airport with the IT bag. (Campaign was inspired by paparazzi pics of Jackie with this bag).
Recently Alessandro Michele presented rejuvenated version of the bag during FW 2020 fashion show. He established new official name 'The Jackie 1961' (1961 is the year of the bag's succes). Alessandro made it more rigid and compact.
Crafted in sleek, smooth leather, available in medium, small and mini sizes, in various colours (brand new pastels). Alessandro's contemporary twist on the bag became a massive hit.

To conclude: The Jackie Bag is an ultimate IT BAG it changes with the time but it still remember about its history and heritage. It's a perfect everyday bag and I think it's a really good bag for the first investment in hf items.
