Some of the greatest entrepreneurs I’ve met play a lot of video games.

When I think for the games I play(ed) there are a lot of key learnings:
Games like StarCraft, Civ, Warcraft taught you to balance offence and defence alongside collecting resources to plan your strategy.
On the other hand WOW, Call Of Duty, DOTA, CS made you learn to read opposing teams/players and understand how they’re playing so you can have an advantage.
Then you have sports (FIFA, NBA, NHL, NFL, etc) where you’d find the exploits in the defence to try and give yourself an advantage while learning the mechanics to optimize your likelihood to score.
These are a few examples, and while I don’t like the trend of younger generations spending so much time infront of screens - I do know that video games played a big role in me building a lot of the skills I have today.
And to be honest there’s a bright spot during Covid to squad up with some friends you can’t see IRL and play games while chatting and catching up on life.
