My spouses class is doing the butterfly project so there are live caterpillars in my curio cabinet

One of them is starting to do The Thing

It is getting progressively harder to take pics of the caterpillars because of how my phone wants to zoom, but I hope watching them grow is bringing you guys joy the same way it is bringing me.

So one of the caterpillars has successfully made a cocoon but the cocoon somehow ended up horizontal? Sorry I can't get a better pic. I can't move the jar to take photos anymore now that the cocoons are forming.

We are transferring them into the enclosure!
