If you are queer and also super exhausted - and bored - with all the constant narrative saying that you are sinful, broken, abnormal, not accepted and loved by God,

READ this.

You are UNIQUE. God creates you queer because God loves you so much that you must deal with all the rejection, hate, mocking etc to train you and remind how powerful, beautiful and resilient you are.

You are "LIMITED edition". With all human being ever lived on earth, God CHOOSE you to be queer, to be given wings so that you can spread all your authentic, shining soul to the world.

When most people see things in binary box (that's so boring!), God makes you see, feel and be beyond the binary so that you are able to experience the most colorful, lively, diverse, vibrant vision of this life.

All the suffering you are having all this time is the way God creates you SO SPECIAL that through those adversities, you are given access to the spiritual doors of being the truest version of you, of finding the hidden gem inside you.

Just like a rainbow, your pure love and "queer-awareness" that exist in your deepest heart is also the God's CREATION to bring a sparkling joy and miraculous voice in your life. You are an aesthetic melancholy, the whole beauty.

Interpretation of people about you, about texts (who are misused to hurt you), can be wrong. It's somehow the product of phobias linked with political contexts etc. But God's compassion about you never be restricted and mistaken. You are God's precious, loved creation too.

God doesn't care what is your outward appearance, your gender identity or expression, your sexual orientation. What God sees is your good deeds to yourself, others and your surroundings.

Be kind and embrace your authentic self.

It's totally fine if you choose to hide, to be invisible, to feel of fear, because we live in a world where not everyone sees you THE WAY GOD SEES you with all the limitless blessings of compassion.

While we are hoping that this world can gradually change to be much more safer place for us, but you are not less for hiding, for being so patient with the beautiful mystery you keep to yourself.

God creates the feelings, God sees you, God loves you.

Rumi once said, "The wound is the place where the light enters you".

Your queerness is also the space, the being, where you can reflect on the pains, the challenges, the struggles, and turn them into the light that transforms you as a courageous, truthful, beautiful being.

Life has been so difficult for many. Hope my few words bring a little warmth and light for my queer friends.

Anyway, I made this thread after receiving a sweet gift from my new queer friend. He joined a virtual event where I spoke abt queer muslim existence and he was so happy with it. Then he sent me a lovely sarung!
