For a god, forever is a damn long time. But the deal is done. DreamXD departs.

George hears the sound of enderman again, this time determined to find the source. And he does. He sees the particles of one underground, behind a wall. He seems satisfied with this, as he simply places back the blocks he’d broken and walks away. He didn’t harm it.
“This is just weird. It feels like they’re... it just feels like they were following me.”
And somehow things get weirder. Quackity logs on, but as a cow. He follows George around, the latter is confused and trying to comprehend the situation.

Just as he grasps some familiarity, some recognition of something from another dream, his vision begins to go black. Then, in a bed at the smp’s spawn with all the netherite items in his possession, he wakes up.
I’ve left this part until now to mention, but I believe the end poem is the two beings known as DreamXD and the god of the end conversing, conversing about c!George. I’ll be posting the end poem in its entirety for you to read, but I’ll be highlighting certain passages.

I also thought about how the dreamon may have corrupted DreamXD, either by possession or it just genuinely being part of him, a part he cannot control; and it’s this corruption that divides him and the god of the end, a corruption that led to chaos and destruction.
And every reiteration of DreamXD (such as c!Dream) is just as susceptible to the dreamon, so it’s a curse that perhaps needs to be broken, if it even can be.
DreamXD begged c!George to not give up on him because it’s what the god of the end had done, or at least it was what he understood of the situation.
George showed consideration of the fact something may lie beneath the mask, perhaps the corruption of the dreamon takes a physical form.
