Every day for the past two weeks, Amazon has been sending me an alert that the delivery estimate of the Doctor Who season 24 blu-ray has changed. When they started (on March 16), it was estimating May 17. Now it’s the start of June.

It was May 17, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 24, 24, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 31, 31, 31 and now June 1.

I would love to know why this particular item is triggering this level of diligence in reporting its arrival.

Apropos of little, the Season 8 set is supposed to come out June 1. I have a suspicion we're soon going to see delivery estimate emails about this release as well.
