Just had @onepeloton bike delivered. So excited. The technicians attached the screen upside down on the bike and stripped the screws so it can't be removed. My wife was told the screen/attachment assembly is on back order and we will have to wait weeks for our new bike to work.

Update on our @onepeloton bike disaster: Ordered a Peloton Bike+ in mid Jan. Knew we would have to wait. Delivery schedule for 3/31. Bike+ delivered 3/31 and techs attached the screen upside down on the bike and stripped the screws 1/

The delivery techs enthusiastically tried to remove the stripped screws with power tools and completely ruined the screw head. No way to disconnect the upside down screen from the bracket of the @onepeloton Bike+. Delivery crew promised to return following day w/ parts to fix. 2/

No crew showed up or called. When we were unable to get through to the delivery crew we called @onepeloton. They have been less than helpful. Despite explaining problem to them they insisted on sending out just new screws and promised to send techs once they arrived. 3/

Waited 5 days for screws, more days for techs. No one ever contacted us. When we called @onepeloton back to inquire they listened a bit more closely to our description of the problem and sent out a new screen. 4/

New screen arrived today from @onepeloton , but without the bracket that connects the screen to the handle bar, so we can't connect. Called them back and was told we needed a new handle bar which is on back order with NO estimated availability date! 5/

So now I have a $2500 @onepeloton Bike+ with not even an estimate on when I can expect to have it working. The only contact we have had is when we initiate it. It appears that once you pay for the bike you are on your own. 6/

We will now be looking into returning the @onepeloton Bike+, as I don't see any interest from @onepeloton in actually getting the one sitting in my house working. Please have caution ordering from @onepeloton as you will be on your own if they deliver a non-functional product.
