England is racist - sorry to say ... here’s some of my experiences as a white girl . I hardly see any black or Indian kids at music festivals . It’s a sea of white .

I worked in the entertainment industry for 30 years - hardly any of our backstage crew were black or Indian . So many festival set ups I worked on only had a handful of Black artists performing .

One of my dearest friends has a mixed race daughter -she ended up reverting to her mums maiden name ;her fathers African name meant she never got a call back when she submitted her CV -once she did ;she was interviewed many times & eventually got her dream job ( in Berlin !)

I’ve seen people cross the road when they see a black person ahead . In Harrow road I asked a black guy for the time - he took 2 steps back from me ; when I asked why - he said he didn’t want to be accused of anything !

When I moved to West Sussex - a small number of Nepali NHS workers moved into the area - I literally saw people giving them a wide berth in Tesco’s .

Almost every white person I know refers to black peoples as “them” & “they” followed by some nonsense statistic . I was told once that there’s science that says black peoples have smaller brains than us - that was from a neighbour .

The racism is England is real people : no matter what this report says - I saw it in my daily life - and I’m white ! In Chichester a white van man screamed obscenities at a Muslim lady waiting to cross the road - I apologised to her - she said it happened every day .

In the park ,I’ve seen white mums move their children away from black kids on the swing .
It’s a fact that black ladies are more likely to die in childbirth than white ladies . It’s real folks .

I’ve seen patients in hospitals refusing to be treated by a black doctor . It’s the saddest thing - England is racist - this report is a crock of sh*t . It’s a whitewash .... funny that ?
