Important research findings: all those 'pop-up' (and provisional, appropriate name) cycle lanes got lots of people cycling and will probably, through physical activity, save lives. The results of our research are free, open access and being used to inform investment of the Active Travel Fund. Many km of cycleways have been built on corridors recommended by our tool, including on the A660 (Otley Road) in Leeds.
