Pro!hero Dynamight has built a reputation soon after he graduated as a very 𝑐𝑎𝑝𝑎𝑏𝑙𝑒 hero. A hero that defeated villains with such ease and efficiency that villains refrained from fighting against him just to avoid the humiliation.

That’s why most of the villains he ended up fighting with seemed to be the proudest of them all. They wanted to probe they were better than Dynamight by winning a fight against him.

But they never did. So they end up rotting in jail, their anger and thirst for revenge growing with time like an ugly infection. They end up only dreaming about pay back. About what they would do to hero Dynamight if only they could get their hands on him.

But not all villains are impulsive, or stupid, or feel the need to be the ones directly defeating Dynamight and Shigaraki has grown past his childlike villain self. He’s become a lot more like his sensei; he had a plan, and he worked in the shadows.

So nobody really expected it.
The jailbreak was done quietly, with no casualties.
The guards only realized that prisoners where missing when Twice’s copies of them died out. But they could only guess how much times they’ve been gone.
They’ve lost too much time.

And they lost even more time figuring out 𝓌𝒽𝑜 were the ones who got out.
They sent a panicked message to Best Jeanist’s agency to warn them, but it had already been too late.
Every prisoner that escaped had been a villain that Dynamight had caught at some point in his career.

The worst of them.
They’re all free.
But when the agency tried to reach Dynamight who was supposed to be on patrol... he didn’t answer.
