In terms of competition, y& #39;all might think that the Prem is ahead of the other leagues. But that& #39;s not the case.
Since the 00-01 season, the average point gap between the 1st and 2nd placed teams are as follows:-
1•La Liga-6.2
2•Premier League-7.55
3•Serie A-7.7

As you can see, La Liga& #39;s point gap is the least and the Prem& #39;s average is just 0.2 points lesser than the Serie A, which many of us label as a & #39;farmers league& #39;. So the Premier league is not really the & #39;most competitive league in the world.
But it should also be noted that in the last 20 years, Premier League has had 6 different winners, Bundesliga has had 5 and La liga and Serie A has had 4.
Now this is quite interesting. La liga has a lesser point gap than the Prem but the latter has had more different winners.

This shows that the top teams in La Liga are able to remain consistent and maintain their dominance for a longer period of time than the Prem& #39;s top teams. Barça and Real maintaining their level at the top for so long is just not talked about enough. They always rise after a fall.

in the Europa league,La Liga clubs lead the way with 12 titles. Sevilla are the record holders with 6 titles. The Premier league and Serie A come 2nd with 9 titles each and Bundesliga come in 4th with 6 titles.
