1/3: Takeaways for @ollie_lovell's ERRR with Aaron Peters:

1. Mini-whiteboards nullify the risk of making an error. Helpful for students who fear makin mistakes.

2. When you explicitly discuss student errors, you normalise them.
2/3
3. Don't ask: "Can you explain that in your own words."
Instead: "Can you share your CURRENT understanding based on what we've done."

4.Helpful test review format: 3 columns - Student Error, What were they thinking?, You try a similar question now.
3/3
5. The most common, and most dangerous question, in schools is "Does everyone understand?" (I like @mrbartonmaths solution to this: "Please write down a question (or 2) to help improve your current understanding.)
