What are Instagram Reels?

Instagram is a multifaceted platform.

1. Use music in the background

Reels with music in the background tend to reach more people than just speaking.

Using popular sounds with trends that are going viral within the last 90 days can also help you reach more people.

Certain sounds / music are proven to go viral.
2. Show your Face

People are watching videos for visuals, not words.

Put your face out there. Get rid of camera shyness. The best personal brands put theirselves out there!

Your audience wants to see YOU and YOUR story. Bring it to them.
3. Speak your Message

Yes, I said to use music.

However, if you’re good at speaking in front of the camera and have creative ways to present it, people will listen.

Take advantage of your strengths and work with it.
4. Avoid watermarks

People usually repost TikToks onto IG Reels in hopes it’ll go viral.

That’s not how it works.

In fact, Instagram is catching on and decreasing reach for any videos with watermarks.

So if your video has a TikTok watermark (or any watermark), remove it.
5. Follow Trends

Watch bigger pages in your niche.

Or just go to your explore page.

What trends are going on in your niche? With what sounds?

How are they recording these reels? How can you replicate it for your own brand message?

Work accordingly.
