(THREAD) It’s one year since the best album of 2020 released. After Hours by The Weeknd is a modern masterpiece. A song like Blinding Lights is truly a timeless hit and Heartless a synth trap wonder. One of my favorite albums of all time. The Weeknd at his absolute prime.

Definition of a grand opening? Alone Again is amazing and one of my favorite intros of all time.
Underrated gem. It’s such a good song and the outdo instrumentals are so chilling wish there was more but nonetheless it’s very good.
I wasn’t alive in the 80s but this really slaps you in the face with 80s and I love it. Underrated af too.
Such a pleaser and a hard hitter. It’s a good song with a little of sadness in there so classic Weeknd.
If there’s any song I’d remove it would be this and even then it’s not a bad song. I just don’t enjoy it as much as the others.
I like the second half of the song so much. It’s so slow but it’s Abel in his absolute best bag.
I’m always surprised to see people dislike this song like it isn’t too 5 in this album. I LOVE the chorus and the second verse is phenomenal. I fucking love this song.
THE BEST SONG ON THE ALBUM. It’s like a short movie 5 minute movie. The last minute gives me goosebumps everytime and always reminds me that Anel doesn’t always love this life and it makes me feel for him. Top 5 Weeknd song ever.
TIMELESS HIT. Blinding Lights is about the only song that has been huge for this long and does not get old whatsoever. It’s such a good song and will go on as one of the biggest snubs in Grammy history.

SO DAMN GOOD YALL BETTER APPRECIATE THIS MORE IN THE FUTURE. So good. Chorus is so catchy.
I don’t like interludes being too long, but this was exceptional. Abel in his toxicity bag is the best Abel. We love toxicity Weeknd. More toxicity Weeknd please.
Masterpiece. Title track is as grand as it should be. Second best song on the album. Another song that feels like a small movie. So fucking good.
Respect this song. I love the darker vibes this gives and the production is FANTASTIC. If there’s a whole album with polished production like in Too Late or this, I’ll love it. Fantastic outro. Top 5 After Hours.
After Hours is a masterpiece. An album that will go down as a classic and an R&B, Synth, Trap, Pop ESSENTIAL. Few albums like these. Likes and RTs are appreciated y’all.
