On the note of data Google collects
I want to share this for sex workers especially:
Incognito mode isn't incognito to Google and now there's even a lawsuit about it.
Download the Tor Browser and use it for your work instead. https://arstechnica.com/gadgets/2021/03/judge-rules-5-billion-google-chrome-incognito-mode-lawsuit-can-go-forward/

"Google continues to track, collect, and identify their browsing data in real time, in contravention of federal and state laws on wiretapping and in violation of consumers’ rights to privacy."
If you're doing sex work
•Use a VPN
•Use the Tor browser
•Remove EXIF photo data from your images https://us.norton.com/internetsecurity-how-to-how-to-remove-gps-and-other-metadata-locations-from-photos.html

If you're doing sex work
•Save up $30 for 3 months of a PO Box - don't let clients ship to your real address.
You can get the smallest box and retrieve packages at the desk.
•Don't add 3rd-party wishlist items to Amazon wishlists, as your address could be exposed to clients

Giving your real address to clients is always risky. I do not recommend if you can make any other arrangements.
The minute a boundary-pushing client makes you worry they'll show up at your place, you will understand.

•If you're swapping numbers, there are many services that will let you create separate numbers from your norm
apps like Google Voice or Hushed are two I've used.
(although with Google being shit at privacy maybe you should think twice about texting business over GV)

If you want to get the most robust privacy option, you can try the DeltaChat beta.
DeltaChat lets you communicate with any of your email contacts over end-to-end encryption
but unlike Telegram, Signal, etc., DeltaChat has no servers to store your info. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=chat.delta

If your friends aren't using DeltaChat, they'll just get an appropriately-formatted email.
Just to be clear about the Tor Browser, this can be installed and easily-used by anyone, not just tech nerds.
The privacy settings start locked down and you can adjust to your comfort. https://www.torproject.org/download/

The Tor browser alone is not enough so don't forget your VPN with it.

And not ideal for a work account, but
great for creating throwaway accounts if you need an email to sign up for something,
GuerillaMail has had my back on that front since high school.

Like, take it from somebody who's been doxxed, privacy and safety are worth these investments.

Circling back around to deleting EXIF data from pics,
I posted a how-to for PCs earlier, but you aren't SOL if you don't have a computer.
There are many apps to do this on smartphones and tablets as well. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=apps.syrupy.metadatacleaner

A great point about VPNs from my favorite technomancer @HereBeSaoirse:
"If you use Mozilla VPN or other large VPN services, it leaves an obvious signature of connecting to a VPN on the router logs."
If you are not the person in control of your router, this is important to know!

If you'd like to set up your own VPN
consider trying Wireguard.
Especially if you're concerned about a someone in your household monitoring your router.
It's a newer VPN protocol with a smaller and more secure codebase than, say, OpenVPN

Wireguard is part of the Linux mainline source code and received coveted praise from Linus Torvalds
so you know it's privacy-conscientious-nerd approved.

@HereBeSaoirse said Amazon Web Services (AWS) offers a year of free service.
You can set up a VPN thru AWS to protect your data.
Running it thru the generic linux AWS shell masks VPN use on router logs
AWS won't have data - your VPN encrypted it.

And @HereBeSaoirse kindly offered to help anyone who needs AWS for a VPN set that up.
This also extends to anyone who may not be a sex worker
but may be unsafe at home and having their internet traffic monitored there.
Cybersecurity is extremely important when leaving abuse.

If you want a secure email that won't require a phone number, I suggest ProtonMail, deets below https://twitter.com/SugarCunt/status/1374344269595471876?s=19
Wanna make sure this app suggestion is seen, I haven't used it personally yet.
The more options, the better!
After all, sex workers have such wonderfully diverse needs because we come from all walks of life
