I was hired by the Ontario govt to work on the Vaccination Info and Booking lines. I had a 2 and a half hour training. I was expected to start today.

I never received the laptop and hardware and have not still. It took me 3 hours to set up my personal laptop just to see if I could. I then watched the chat all day from the agents as they could not book, couldn't help, couldn't look people up,

had no idea how to help old people who are not ambulatory. It was a nightmare. They got no help but only told to look it up in their training manual as their clients were on hold. Nobody could transfer anyone to a PHU. It was an abject failure.

The Vaccination Booking Line times out after 10 mins. Have you ever asked a person over 80 when they are available for an appt now and again in 3 months? They need time, patience, glasses , diaries, calendars. They need an email address to book or definitely a cell phone.

This age range needs help. They don't all have access to people to help them. I was told I would get 3 days training. I got 2 and a half hours of the worst training of my life. Don't the public deserve to know how the rollout is a disgrace and will be a failure?

Expecting over 80's to make the call to protect themselves seems like negligence to me. Of the highest order!”
