I no longer regularly use deodorant. I use my chemical exfoliants under my arms 95% of the time now.

My armpits literally smell like *nothing* constantly because lactic acid is antibacterial . What makes sweat smell is bacteria. Also my armpit hyperpigmentation is nearly gone.
I also sometimes use the inkey list’s salicylic acid under my arms. It works really well too.
I ran out of my @PaulasChoice 2% BHA but that’s my absolute favorite for my armpits. That’s what I initially started with then I explored other exfoliants, but that one is still superior under the arms.
Also cleansing with the @cerave 4% BPO cleanser >>>> benzoyl peroxide kills bacteria, so your sweat doesnt smell.
I do this once a day, usually in the morning after showering before work. I treat it as my deodorant step.

Currently, I’ve been using the @EpanouieSkin Body Milk for a few weeks and it’s—whew. It’s amazing under the arms for non-smelly sweat. 10/10 so far. And smells great.
Also, I’m anti “all natural” deodorants. Absolutely not. Had me smelling like Funyuns even with Mon Paris on. Never again!
The @necessaire deodorant also has AHAs which is why I love it so much. It’s the main deodorant I use when I do use deodorant.
Also there’s no “transition” or “purging” period for this like allegedly there is with natural deodorant (the science doesn’t support that you can purge your armpits). This works literally from the moment you put it on the first time.
I should also add to this that I have both HS (hidradenitis suppurativa) and hyperhydrosis. So I have to take really good care of my armpits to avoid hs flare ups, and also to avoid BO because of how easily I sweat from hyperhydrosis.
I’m just going to make a video on this answering all your questions lol. And I’ll probably go on IG live tomorrow to answer some questions too and show you guys the exact products and steps to do.
This doesn’t impact how much you sweat, it only makes your sweat not smell. You will still sweat. It’ll literally just be like water (since that’s what sweat mostly is) and your pheromones that you’ll smell.

Also, lactic acid is already found in our sweat lol. It’s not bleach.
