[Why is AOMG called an artists paradise, a very much needed thread]

I should begin with the most important thing, FREEDOM. AOMG is one of the few companies who gives complete freedom to its artists. Both musically and with everything else.

Example is when Woo Wonjae realised that all music does not go through Jay Park, or that if he didn't like it then it wouldn't get released. NO, it's the artists who decide what they want to release, with whom and when.

Example 2, Dj Pumkin (AOMG co-CEO, also known as AOMG glue) explaining that the artists under AOMG have full control over their music. The only thing AOMG, help them with is the packaging. What, how and where they'll promote etc.

To sign to AOMG you have to be an actual artist, the company and the other artists will help you with whatever you want, be it a feature, track or just feedback. It's just a text/call away. The artists are the ones who're responsible, they write/produce/sing their own songs.

Their connections are no joke, they have connections with everybody who's somebody in Korea. And top artists/ businesses in other countries aswell. Example is when Simon D wanted to collab with Pharoahe Monch, Dj Pumkin made sure that happend.

In AOMG is that there's no hierarchy, everybody is equal doesn't matter if you're an artist or CEO. They treat eachother as family, comfortable with eachother. That's why ALL the artists have stayed loyal to the company despite other, more famous companies, approaching them.

THE PAY. AOMG is known in the music industry for having the best pay. Dindin always mention that, example is when he and Loco guested on Happy Together (recommending seeing it).

The reason AOMG artist get paid alot is because of Jay, he doesn't take the money for himself, he earns his own, as an artist. Ofc. I expect him to take a small %, but alot of the money goes to the company directly. So staff can have better wages, company can do more etc.

Several examples of this, but I'll mention H1GHR (Jay's other company). "GANG remix" was a hit, got a PAK and charted for weeks. Everything he earned went directly to the company, he didn't take a single cent. Once again putting the company and it's staff before himself.

But not only the company, he makes sure everybody associated with AOMG, for example the dancers, are set.

During COVID there was no reason for dancers to be hired as there were no concerts, but Jay/AOMG hired them for dance videos, tv shows etc.

Woo Wonjae asked Jay what he wants/expects from him as an artist. And the response (see pics below), was basically what he expects from all AOMG artists. FULL SUPPORT.

Something I personally think is really important is depression. This is an example from Wonjae, talking about how he appreciated that the AOMG artists supported him but at the same time gave him space.
