So I spent the last 3 months or so living through one of the works customer service experiences I can image courtesy of @HomeDepot.

I know they probably won't care much about me telling all this, but hoping for people to share this around so others don't get taken advantage of
On October 8th, my wife and I purchased a dishwasher on http://HomeDepot.com . Given that dishwashers involve both electricity (hardwired in our case) and water. We paid for installation. Thinking it would be better to have someone who knew what they were doing.
Now large appliance delivery is taking a long time right now, we knew that going in and were patient.

Nov 24 comes around and we get our first attempted delivery. The dishwasher arrives dented. We sent it back, and are told we should hear from someone in 48 hours.
