To start:
ARMY:
All ARMY love and support all seven of our creators. Therefore, all ARMY are a "stan" for each of our seven creators.
BIAS:
Some ARMY have biases! It may be they emotionally connect strongly with one (or more) of our creators for a particular reason.

A solo only is here for one of our creators. They are not ARMY. An akgae is a solo but one who treats the rest of our creators maliciously. They are also not ARMY.
Solos and akgaes are not the audience for anything our creators say, produce, or share.

WHY ANY OF THIS MATTERS:
ARMY have called themselves "MEMBER STANS". This isn't entirely new. However, we see that the "MEMBER STAN" creates an intersection between solos&akgaes, and ARMY.

WHY IT MATTERS, CONT:
However, ARMY's good intentions allows solos & akgaes to camouflage themselves. People who do not love and support all seven of our creators are calling themselves "MEMBER STAN". It is less likely to get them called out than openly being a solo.

When we see ARMY calling out the use of the "MEMBER STAN" phrase, it is not that they are criticising that ARMY consider themselves stans of our creators.

The issue is that phrasing it as "MEMBER STAN" allows those who do not love and support all seven of our creators to feel comfortable in ARMY space - without being ARMY themselves.

By calling out using "MEMBER STAN" ARMY aren't attacking ARMY. They're fighting against those who want to camouflage themselves in ARMY space but who do not love & support all seven of our creators, and whose presence in ARMY space should not be tolerated.

CONCLUSION:
When ARMY stops "MEMBER STAN, are we ready?" and says "ARMY, are we ready?" it makes it harder for solos&akgaes to get into ARMY space.
Help keep ARMY space safe for ARMY & safe for our creators! Don't use language that invites in those who don't love&support all 7
