You know, I think c!Philza is possibly the most compassionate character on the entire SMP.
It's just that so many people on the server have wronged him that he barely gets to display his caring nature, but we still see glimpses of it: a thread.

Early on Philza took the time to bond with Fundy, taking him out fishing and helping with his adoption. Even after Fundy wrecked Phil's home and executed his best friend, Philza says that Fundy has "a lot of redeeming to do", implying he is still willing to give him a chance.

Phil also spent time with Ghostbur, even though it was undoubtedly painful to be near a mere shell of his dead son. He recognized Ghostbur as his own person with his own feelings and took care not to upset him (ex. that one time the button room got revealed).

And then there is Ranboo. What if the things Phil said yesterday were somewhat in-character?
What if he sees Ranboo as someone easily manipulated. Another good person who was forced to do terrible things by a corrupt institution.

Philza owed Ranboo nothing, but he still offered the hybrid a place to stay just because he saw his kindness, because he wanted to give the other an opportunity to heal away from the ruins of a corrupt, exploitative nation.

"I've seen [government] change the nicest people into complete and utter tyrants," Phil told Technoblade once.
To Philza, Doomsday was an act of liberation as much as one of revenge. He saw destroying L'Manburg as a way to free everyone of its corruption.

c!Philza is most definitely not obligated to help every person on the server, but something tells me that he wants to. But there is only so much one man can do: like giving a vulnerable hybrid boy a home, or destroying a nation responsible for the majority of everyone's suffering
