so when levi and zeke both almost died in the thunder spear explosion, ymir brought zeke back, so we can assume that no matter how badly a body is injured, ymir can still decide to bring them back
since eren is the one that freed ymir, maybe she wanted to pay him back by bringing him back to life
since there& #39;s this theory saying that ymir& #39;s goal is to make eren and mikasa realize their feelings for one another, as their love is pure and real, not at all like her relationship with king fritz, what if she decided to bring him back so they could live together
eren would perhaps have no memory of his last moments just like when he first turned into a titan and forget everything that happened
and ymir would give them a second chance by starting over to see if they make the same mistakes again
