Here’s some books I’ve read so far in 2021. I trend to binge through an author at a time so a lot of these will be similar.
Pretty good if you like 2 perspective historical fiction. I enjoy that she brings in accurate facts and real characters.
You know I love my modern trashy romance this was a cute free book on Ibook/kindle. Liked that it was in one book and not spread over 3 to force me to pay.
Same for these. If you enjoy lifetimes movies these are just that book forms. Decent plot line and the first one was free. Wouldn’t say the second was good worth the purchase fully but was nice to finish the story I guess.
These are a spin of from above series about a secondary character within getting own story. This is where I will NEVER recommend this author again. Is a white author who badly brings racial issue into her plot line drops words she DID NOT NEED TO. I won’t say which you can guess
I’ve been wanting to read this for years but worried it would be triggering like the movie. It was not. It was one of the most comfortable and relatable things I’ve ever read. I regret taking this long to read it.
It was great.
Because I read the wedding date and loved it. I had to read more. These were both adorable. I think the wedding party was my favorite so far. Again quick easy fun romcom books.
This book has been on my shelf for years and I now finally sat down with it. I enjoyed it besides the epilogue.
I just finished the book on the left. It’s a great quick thriller I’ve been binging this series since 2020. I’ve enjoyed most, A few fell flat or felt rushed but overall enjoyed. The first book (2nd pic)Just wanted to share. It is entertaining thriller & free on kindle/ibook
Cheesy quick romance while I wait for my holds from my Libby app. Free on iBook/kindle. Was good for free read. Had the cliche epilogue I hate but it was alright
Another one of Guillory’s books. Same feelings as the last. I really like her books for a nice romcom read.
Did not expect to read though this so fast. It was fantastic but gruesome. Highly recommend but with a TW.
It takes A LOT to make my cry. This book BROKE ME. I thought I was getting a nice light romance after reading a thriller. It was that & much more. The character development and everything was amazing and unfortunately a little too close to home. Also laughed out loud reading too.
I’m still not sure WTF I just read. I almost gave this up because the first few chapters are cliche but I’m glad I didn’t
Super cute cheesy romcom. Fun self aware and fresh plot while still hitting all the comforting cliches in a great way.
I wasn’t super into the book till the last 1/3rd of it. I was never bored but never hooked either. Was a decent read & very well written I’ll give it that.
My fucked up brain needs a break from thrillers and triggering books so I’ve read these fantastic contemporary harlequin smut books this past week.
After reading the Two Lives of Lydia Bird I wanted to read her other book and I’m glad I did. I rarely cry at sappy books but both her books made my eyes teary
I am UGLY crying. I was put off by the description but it kept being suggested to me by my reading apps and oh my god.
