You may get a tax credit if you:
✅ Worked from home more than 50% of the time for a period of 4 weeks in a row in 2020.
✅ Worked from home in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic (by choice/as per your employer's request).

(+ additional requirements for specific claim methods.)
What can you claim? Some items include:

✅ Rent on your home (only if you're a renter and don't own the home)
✅ Internet access (minus connection fees/modem lease)
✅ Work-related device (i.e. laptop, cell phone)
⛔️ Standing-desk 😔
✅ Highlighters 🤔
FYI - there are two methods of claiming the credit:

1. Temporary Flat Rate: Claim $2 for every day you worked from home in 2020 due to the pandemic.

2. Detailed: Claim the actual amounts paid on work-from-home expenses.
Self-employed workers get a piece of the pie too. You can claim certain expenses with the Business-use-of-home expenses method.

Including:
🔧 Maintenance costs
🏠 Property taxes
🛏 Partial rent
