New paper:

"Combing through history books and newspapers to pick out examples of Jewish radicals while ignoring gentile radicals, and spinning unsupported tales about the nefarious motivations of the Jews, is not & #39;race realism.& #39;" https://link.springer.com/article/10.1007%2Fs11406-021-00322-w">https://link.springer.com/article/1...
In my 2018 paper on MacDonald, I neglected the issue of the Jewish role in mass immigration. @TOOEdit claims that his views (i.e. Jews killed the national-origin quotas in order to turn whites into a minority) are supported by the work of Hugh Davis Graham. I show this is untrue.
A clarification:

@jollyheretic raised the concern that people might think I& #39;m saying that promoters of the anti-Jewish narrative hate Jews. This would be completely wrong. I draw a parallel between the anti-white and anti-J narratives, which I compare to scientific paradigms.
These are schemas for making sense of the world based on certain empirical assumptions. Most people who subscribe to the anti-white narrative are themselves white and associate mostly with other whites. *Some* of them are motivated by hate—or self-hatred—but most are not.
In general, I do not think that you should impugn people& #39;s motives unless either there is overwhelming evidence or they themselves reveal their motives.
@TOOEdit says openly that he sees Jews "in a less than flattering light" and his "motivation…is less than pristine" (2002 preface to CoC, p. lxviii). In an interview with Red Ice, he says that Jews "are not really nice people." I didn& #39;t even bother mentioning this in the paper
because my point isn& #39;t about people& #39;s motivations. Clearly, for some people the anti-J narrative is a way to express their irrational hatred. (*Not* saying that& #39;s KM.) People like that aren& #39;t going to listen to reason, and my paper isn& #39;t about them and isn& #39;t addressed to them.
As I say: "Many promoters of the white-racism narrative are sincere, and they aren’t necessarily bad at reasoning in general. But narratives shape our expectations, which influence how we process information." Same applies (mutatis mutandis) to the anti-J narrative.
Re my specific point of disagreement with Dutton: I point out that liberal Jews are disappearing due to high intermarriage and low birth rates. I suggest that this is inconsistent with the extremely high levels of ethnocentrism posited by MacDonald et al.
Dutton notes that Jew/Jew marriages are more common than would be expected by chance (i.e., if mating were random), and he argues that this is evidence that Jews are significantly more ethnocentric than white gentiles, as MacDonald claims.
I say that there are a number of reasons why J/J marriages are more common than expected by chance. Jews share similar backgrounds and personality traits, they& #39;re not necessarily favored as marriage partners by all gentiles, etc. Ethnocentrism is also surely *a* factor.
However, as I say in the paper, the question is not whether ethnocentrism exists in Jews at all—of course it does. Question is whether Jews are *so* ethnocentric that it makes sense to explain the political and intellectual behavior of lib Jews as an expression of ethnocentrism.
On Dutton& #39;s view, although liberal Jews can& #39;t be bothered to do anything about their imploding demographics—in fact, liberal Jewish leaders celebrate intermarriage and "diversity" within the J community—they& #39;re still highly ethnocentric because mating & association isn& #39;t random.
In my view, this looks like an example of just finding some ways that Jews are different from gentiles and then drawing far-reaching conclusions to support the anti-J narrative, which are not supported by the totality of the evidence.
I would also point out, as I did in my 2019 rejoinder to Dutton in EPS, that ethnocentrism is highly sensitive to the environment. Germans in 1935 might have seemed like the most ethnocentric people in the world, but their grandchildren are the least ethnocentric.
Of course some people will blame Jews for this! But even if you do blame Jews, it& #39;s clear that ethnocentrism is a highly plastic trait and race differences are not stable at all. Nevertheless, liberal Jews are not exhibiting high levels of ethnocentrism required by KMac et al.
