1/ MASKS ENHANCE FALLS
More than 600,000 die/year worldwide from falls, & several million hospitalized. How many more now with masks? We now have bus drivers wearing masks -- I wonder if there is anything worth seeing in their lower visual field?

2/ MY FACE IS NOT A PRIVATE PART
Masks have transformed our faces into a private part. These taboos, once begun, are very difficult to undo.

That masks are uncomfortable in the first place should have been enough to assume that wearing them has harms. And, the discomfort itself must be part of the calculation.

There was no understanding of how face masks could be co-opted as a required virtue signal, independent of whether or not they work. And that such virtue signals can lead to dangerous societal rifts.

5/ WEAR THEM BECAUSE THEY *DON’T* WORK
Not only might folks end up having to wear masks “independent of whether or not they work,” but are more likely to have to wear them because they obviously do NOT work. That’s what works as a virtue signal.

Although vaccinations work, they don’t provide a conspicuous signal that one has had one. Masks are still needed as the signal of Clean Club membership. But vaccination *passports* will provide the sought after signal.

Vaccination passports serve as a signal of being in the Clean Club, as does the mere fact that you’re IN a restaurant or store. Once “clean”, a mask is not needed. Masks are only for the unvaccinated, the unwashed.
