Every time I mention women’s rights, I get told that God loves women so much, there is (1) entire surah dedicated to them! So let us look at Surah Nisa.
1. Gives /men/ the right to marry 4 wives:
“...then marry other women of your choice-two, three, or four. but if you’re afraid you will fail to maintain justice, then (content yourself with) one of those (bondwomen) in your possession.” 4:3
“...then marry other women of your choice-two, three, or four. but if you’re afraid you will fail to maintain justice, then (content yourself with) one of those (bondwomen) in your possession.” 4:3
2. Literally allows /men/ sex slavery, as confirmed by several scholars:
“Also (forbidden are) married women-except (female) captives in your possession.” 4:24
“Also (forbidden are) married women-except (female) captives in your possession.” 4:24
3. Permits /men/ to HIT women:
“...As for the women of whom you fear rebellion, admonish them, and remain apart from them in beds, and BEAT them.” 4:34
“...As for the women of whom you fear rebellion, admonish them, and remain apart from them in beds, and BEAT them.” 4:34
Surah Nisa 4:59 says:
“O believers! Obey Allah and obey the Messenger and those in authority among you.”
So let us refer to the prophet as well.

oop.
To clarify, I am simply observing and analysing our OWN scriptures, that we should not logically be afraid of. I do not have any proper ‘qualifications’ *insert Zakir Naik saying “I’m a medical daktar!” here* so you do not have to take my word for it. Peace.
