My goal for this year is to read 18-20 books. I want to say 24 but let’s not get carried away. Here is the thread for the books I’ve read. Most of them will be by Black Female Authors
The Boyfriend Project was good, but it wasn’t as exciting as I thought it would be. I’m a sucker for love stories, so I liked that part of it. Overall 7.5/10
I don’t like giving books 10/10, but I think this one is. From the very beginning, I was hooked, a page-turner. I didn’t want to put the book down, but at the same time, I had to. I needed to process what I just read
I have so much to say about this book. It made me annoyed all over again about wyt people and men. It was confusing and hard to keep up with the characters. It seemed like everyone was related, and they were all sleeping with each other https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="🥴" title="Woozy face" aria-label="Emoji: Woozy face"> overall 8/10
Very unique book, unique in a good way. Each character had their own stories and background, which I loved. The writing style is also different. Short read. 7.5/10
I really enjoyed this book. I know it’s a YA book, but it’s excellent. I finished it in less than 24 hours. It’s about 390 pages, but the chapters are short, and the story keeps you very engaged. I love that the main character developed throughout the book. 9/10 #WorldBookDay2021
