One of the earliest critics of Christianity, the 2nd century Greek philosopher Celsus (Κέλσος) considered there to be one ancient doctrine common amongst wise men of all learned nations (Persians, Egyptians, Indians, Greeks). He didn't include the Jews. This upset many Christians
The above para is quoted from Origin, who was an apologetic defending Christianity from Celsus. One cause of his anger was Celsus didn't consider the doctrine, myths and rational intepretations of the Jews [and by association, Christians] on par with the learned nations.
Celsus goes on to attack the Jews and says "without any rational cause these goatherds and shepherds abandoned the worship of many Gods"
Celsus gives an even harsher but accurate condemnation of Christianity and says "I will ask them where they have come from, or who is the author of their traditional laws. Nobody, they will say. In fact, they themselves originated from Judaism. They rebelled against the Jews"
Celsus here identifies the unantiquarian origins of Christianity and attacks their source of knowledge, characterizing them as a reactionary religion to Judaism by nature (and not a natural religion).
Celsus goes on to say Christianity is a religion of the slaves and beggars and Christian preachers try to target only the poor, the slaves, women, teenagers with their doctrine. They never enter into a respectable forum of intelligent men (Patricians).
Celsus here reveals another thing. He says that Christians would preach the gospel as servants in private houses of well of Romans & try to convert their children. However if contronted by the family patriarch, would flee or go into denial. They tell kids only they can save them.
Celsus says it makes little difference what name was used for God amongst the Greeks, Egyptians or Indians. A tract of thought we seen often in India also.

But of course, it makes a lot of difference to the Christian and the followers of Moses.
